The VMHC offers special educator-led readings of history books for children and families of all ages. Every program includes a group reading of the selected book and a craft activity related to the story and lesson of the book. Each month will have a different theme.
Stories at the Museum programs are FREE, open to the public, and require no advance registration. All ages are welcome.
Girl Scouts badge and journey programs at Virginia House
Girl Scouts now have the opportunity to earn badges and work on journeys at Virginia House. Using the unique site, the staff will help Girl Scouts fulfill various requirements during half-day, full day or overnight visits. Girl Scouts will explore the gardens, wildlife, and history of Virginia House while participating in the specially designed programs. Please contact Kathryn Lewis, Virginia House site manager, at 804.353.4251 or firstname.lastname@example.org more information about Virginia House programming.
